For most people, Ravel's sole work is Bolero but he wrote some very descriptive pieces. I particularly like his music for the Ma Mere l'Oye (Mother Goose) ballet.

My favourite piece of classical music is Saint Saen's Danse Macabre....it's fantastic.

I like the usual lot too - will no doubt be panned as a philistine :lol: but I do like Vivaldi's Four Seasons & Holst's Planets too.
