I re-ordered a copy of Horsetrader (best racing book I've read; lost old copy), and it stops around about the time of Royal Academy with regard to Coolmore.

What i'd be interested to know is what happened at Coolmore after the MVOB era, and before Aidan took charge?

Many thanks in advance

Hamm, I know that Vincent trained on at least to the end of 1994 at Ballydoyle. Aiden took over in 1996. I can't remember what happened in the 1995 season. Vincent's last few seasons were at a reduced scale to previously.

Aidan ran Life Of A Lord in the 1996, not sure when or where he was trained from but if it was from Ballydoyle I'd assume he wouldn't move yards mid-season?

Charles O'Brien set up as a trainer in 93 and I think used part of the yard before moving to Straffan a few years later.

According to Michael Clower's "Kings of the Turf":

- When MVOB retired, the original intention was to turn Ballydoyle into a training centre for various trainers
- However, AOB was the only one invited to occupy it
- AOB initially stayed at Piltown and made the 50 mile round trip back and forth every day
