It will make a pleasant change from endless heavy ground at the Curragh if the ground is fast this weekend. I'm concerned to hear they've been watering, though, after the debacle that caused Sea The Stars to give the Irish Derby a swerve.

Good ground for Curragh classics

Good ground conditions are expected at the Curragh for Classic weekend at the County Kildare venue.
Selective watering has been taking place on the quicker parts of the course ahead of the 2000 Guineas card on Saturday and the 1000 Guineas meeting on Sunday after a long dry spell. A few showers are forecast that should ensure decent ground for the prestigious two-day fixture.

"We've had a particularly dry spell for the last 10 days so the ground is good to firm on the round course and good, good to firm in places, on the straight course," said racecourse manager Paul Hensey.
"We watered the round course on Tuesday as it was getting a little bit quick on the top of the hill and some of the outlining areas there that are inclined to get quick.
"We've been holding off watering the straight course because there are some showers forecast. We've had one this morning and there are further showers forecast.
"We'll just keep an eye on that and see what happens with the rain before we make any further decisions.
"All in all I think we are going to get a bit of decent ground. If we get the couple of millimetres of rain that is forecast we should get good ground for the weekend."

I suppose good, good to firm is fair enough. Viztoria will certainly appreciate an ease.

Unbroken coverage on ATR Saturday, apart from the ads, as all the other afternoon meetings are on C4 and Racing UK.

Try her again the next time. Bad draw got bumped a bit and tired towards the end. The ones in front of her were all match fit. She could be the best of them.
