Daily picks.

Taken 9/2 knowe head but now only 4/1 and with trip switch and knowe head witth the only two with any recent form then it seems logical to back the only price left.They look like being massively overbet as nothing else is in form and you'd be guessing on anything else running into form even at bigger prices.I can see these two going off 11/4jfs in this race and that trade should cover the ew bet,the negative could be the lack of pace but as the surface is riding so slow i will take the risk.
 
Far bigger prices on betfair spin again not surprised as it was 40/1 when placed and i know the stable were trying with it that day,but i ignored what they told me.:D
 
Dropping nicely now; down to 16.0 from an early morning 25.0. :)

On the other hand , Knowe Head's price inexplicably seems to have gone for a walk.
I'm in two minds whether to get out now at the current 7.0 or put in a Lay in-running at around 3.5.
 
Hope not fella stake back spin again and out at 4.8 knowe head no damage done!!At hospital tomorrow so may just put up picks in every race as a sort of preview.
 
Couldv'e backed at 5/1 3.95 now :lol: easy profit if you waited till this morning.

LOL, I held my nerve when it went to 7.0 ( deciding I would try to Lay it instead in-running)
As it turns out, I don't have to ! Have just now Layed for good profit at 3.9 two minutes before the Off. :)
That was some turnaround in the price -- from 7.0 back down to 3.85 -- just like you foresaw.
Two excellent trades from two today -- very well done, dude. :thumbsup:

Was 15/8 on last visit over c/d off a pound higher mark,tomorrow is 7s in a race where a few have to prove themselves on the surface and has already beaten top weight ambitious icarus by 6ls over 5fs at the track.Lots of placed efforts if back to its best would make this nearer the 5/1 mark probably the bottom weight clodhopper the most likely improver but that has already been beaten 8ls on its first visit to swell.

1.20 Have backed caledonian prince at 5/2 ew and will now back sofias number at 7/1 with ppower ew.Sofias number ran ok over c/d when secopnd to william haigh a progressive type,there's a line of form through caledonian prince that points to sofias having 3ls to find with a 6 pound pull.Sofias number ran over c/d when the surface was riding slower as it will tomorrow and when second to william haigh actually ran quicker than mcconell winning the seller.Price has gone on caledonian prince,i actually like spacecraft as well but not backing three,if you watch spacecraft behind caledonian prince you will see it was totally outpaced but eventually turned into a non trier in the last 2fs as he knew he couldn't win.If they go a decent pace don't be surprised if that 5l difference there's vey little betweeen them.

4.40 Ezra church clocked up a decent time over c/d last time out 1m28.77 and was good for another few lengths.There were 8ls back to the second but quite interesting that the third and fourth horses themselves had clocked up decent runs on their previous runs,fantasy fry and fibs and flannel.

Evening Andy, i've been a bit rough this week, dreadfull cold and bad back, hope you're ok and the kids. Looked at that 1st race at Southwell and looks like you've got the right 2 there, any thoughts on Just Five in that race, has tumbled down the ratings since leaving Dodds and any return to form would give him a very bright chance here.
Over at Wolver 1st race have a look at the weight pull Grand Stich has with Novabridge and No Mean Trick, has to go well imo, was taken out of Novabridge race at wolves the other day, can't see it being 7/1 tomorrow!;)
 
Think i backed just five when it was 4th last year,would be a cert on its 2nd in june hopefully it won't win tomorrow.:whistle:
I was thinking of backing grand stitch with the big weight pulls as it looks the obvious thing to do but somethings telling me not to perhaps the fact that there will be 3 front runners.The surface is slower as well and hasn't been much making all in these races this week either,in saying that there's one later i may take a risk with.Will put it up in a bit just a very small bet later on the card.

A strange ride on jonnie skull last time out held up off the pace and wouldn't be winning races running like that,has dropped to a mark of 50 similar to last season, when dropped to this mark he won.Even this season a third to monte cassino and a 4th to st oswald off 56 would make it fav in this appauling race.Really are guessing on whether this can make all,as most of the week the winners have come off the pace but seeing tamino just collared offers hope for the front runner.I can't say this is a decent trade or not as it went off 6s last time out which did not seem right,but this race is even worse and if right will probably be backed.

No point in doing the trades with the ews and singles as a high % are winning,the trades are really for anyone who doesn't want to have any risk involved in their bets.Had a feeling they were playing around with this as its run in september was completely different class and was runningh off 20 pound lower mark with the claimer on board.No it wasn't good nws today,i'm feeling very unwell with my heart condition can't get to see a cardiologist and when i went there today they found nothing on some routine tests.Got home and again started to feel pretty unwell just hope i get to see someone who can make a diagnosis,as at the moment i can barely stand up through dizziness and breathlessness.

To much to trawl through little bet on meia noite at 9s to trade now currently 15/2 has run a decent time off a huge weight and a decent race at kempton.Looks a genuine 7f horse,lots of doubts surrounding oother runners trip up in weights etc.Won't get rich off this but 15/2 365 still a little bit of value.I can see all sorts of market moves in this race.
