Couldn't agree more.

I reckon they only watered the inside half of the track on the assumption the racing would take place there as per normal on good or firmer ground. The BHA gave the going stick reading as 8.1 early this morning and only altered it to 7.9 at noon. No sign of any horses being injured running on the firmer ground - why not just leave it all alone and let trainers and owners decide whether to run their horses on summer ground. Corinthia Knight in the last was a complete joke!
 
They did exactly the same thing at Musselburugh tonight,every race slow by over 4 seconds,bar the 5f race was slow by 2.53 seconds,the grounds supposed to be gd/fm there i was looking at races being near standard on their going forecast,Yorkindness ran a second above standard at Ponte on fast ground,tonight finishes legless over 6 seconds above standard on a fast track like Musselburugh,the same with Ecclesiastical on Saturday its Chester run was .59 seconds above standard in a canter tonight it's beaten 2 1/2ls race slow by 2.43 seconds on one of the quickest 5f tracks in the country..It makes absolutely no sense watering ground constantly horses that like gd/fm have no chance..a complete farce.

Bless Him hadn't run over 7fs since 2018 when winning this last season,this track on fast ground obviously suits and then its second run since 2018 over 7fs it came 2nd on its very next run to Fresh at Ascot in another big field..Following the same path as last season 7th in the Royal Hunt Cup and this season 5th to Jimi Hendrix it's impossible not to back it with its two best runs on fast ground over this trip in recent times and only a pound higher than last season..
