Dan Skelton and Harry Fry

Skelton has better ammo than Fry due to family links I would imagine however Fry brought UKWIMH along to make him what he is today. Something seriously not going to plan in the Skelton yard I would think. Value at Risk is a huge let down and case in point.

This is complete nonsense you be as well saying Dr Vincent couldn't train or you wouldn't send him a horse because the brilliant 2yo Storm bird was a failure at 3.

Paul Nichols has gone through dozens that cost a lot more than Value at Risk and won nothing of note to date. Or how about Peace and Co..If ever there was a horse who looked like a Champion Hurdle prospect it was him and now he's a complete monkey........does that mean Nicky can't train or you wouldn't send him a horse?

Anyway look back at the bumper Value at Risk was bought out of and the Cheltenham bumper form for that matter..Silver Concorde, Fine Article and Joshua Lane have done nothing since and only the Mullins pair have.
Value at Risk was stuffed rotten at Cheltenham and the Irish race he went off at 25/1 for was no great shakes.

Horses at one point who looked destinted for the top, horses full of promise like Value at Risk, Captian Chaos, Itsafreebee, North Hill Harvey...I dont know, I wouldnt be sending it to Skelton. The way he campaigns his horses, it looks like he is trying to emulate Twiston-Davies rather than Nicholls. It maybe that he has had a bad year but having thought he was the most likely next champion, I have severe doubts now.

Complete nonsense Hawkwing. They have done very will with all 3 of those horses especially the latter.........the very fact he won the Greatwood hardly makes him disappointing just because he is finding it difficult off his new mark.......As far as trying to emulate someone like Nichols isn't a bad target to have in mind..............better than trying to be as good as some permit holder

Had a peek can't see why not 137 on his last run but went off at 1/33 so i doubt if that mark has changed much....North Hill Harvey won it off 141

I'll wait and see but I have begun to suspect that he trains the talent out of horses. People have him pegged as the next big thing with little to back up the impression. He has the name and a good leg up as a start. Best of luck to him
