Last night I wrote a new topic about Australia racing , hoping that any forumite down under would give me something to talk about in a long night .To be honest I don´t use to be connected at 5 in the morning and I don´t know if any forumite uses to follow the racing that early/late .
After a couple of hours and almost four hours before the racing in Australia started , the thread was gone .
Could somebody explain to me why did that happen ?
It´s not very important as I am really beginning to get very uninterested in posting my thoughts lately anyway, but I am curious .
 
I can't see any postings after midday yesterday, Luis. I have no idea why this is.
 
Looks like whatever went wrong with the server took down most (if not all) postings made since mid-day yesterday,

Why? As your one of the three or four people on here who`s punting know-how i respect i`d like to know. I suspect i do but enlighten me.
 
OK then . It was weird because there were some topics posted after mine that still stood available to read once mine was gone .I´ve notice that some of them ( like Krizon´s articles on research ) have been gone as well today , so I guess I have no other option but believe that there is a problem with the server .

Euro, let´s say I´ve got no particular reason . I enjoy reading the forum, but I seem to don´t enjoy posting the same way as I used to .
 
It looks like everything wasn't saved after a certain point too - ie stuff that had been edited is back again!!!!
 
It`s happened again. What the f%*& is going on. I feel comfortable swearing there seeing as how this fuckin post will soon f$%^ing disappear.

I am a bit cross that the research articles disappeared, since it makes a change to read about positive news regarding equine injuries. Can't be bothered to put them back up now.
 
I haven't a clue whether this could be a reason but, I couldn't get on line yesterday morning between 9.00 and 13.00 and when I contacted my ISP I was told that BT were having problems with some of their "gateway routers".

Could this possibly explain the mysterious goings-on?
 
The server was changed at around the time the postings started disappearing, but all seems ok now, any posts that were deleted were just a result of that, sorry
 
Funny that, I was sent a PM that no longer exists - and one that was sent last night existed on one form of the board & not the other! I tried to read the PM that vanished & it told me it didn't exist & took me to an inbox with no new PMs. I had also received an email informing me of another PM that didn't exist in the version of the forum I had already opened to read the non-existent PM but on clicking through the link in my email it did exist. Spooky!
 
Is anyone else finding that posts are disappearing last 24 hrs? At least 3 of mine are on the missing list and they were clearly there this morning :ph34r: Mayby it's just me :rolleyes:
 
There have been posts disappearing over the last couple of days,most have reappeared but I think there's a few from last night that may have disappeared for evermore,there are a couple of threads in general chit chat about it.
 
Sorry Arkwright , I just found Luis Martin;s post over there now . It was Fri night so that would make sense :rolleyes:
