Got off the mark at the second time of asking when taking a five runner maiden by seven and a half lengths ( runner up Kate O’Riley boosted the form by winning at Wolverhampton next time out ) over ten furlongs at Chelmsford in October, following a third place over a mile at Newmarket three weeks earlier. Looks sure to improve further when tackling at least a mile and a half, and has the potential to make up into a nice horse. One to monitor with interest over the course of the season.

DEVIL’S ADVOCATE​

He was third on his debut at Newmarket, but then he broke his maiden very well next time out at Chelmsford. He is by Too Darn Hot and is out of Precious Ramotswe, who was also trained here at Clarehaven Stables. He has got a great pedigree behind him. Physically he looked like being more of a three year old as opposed to a two year old and we are looking forward to seeing him back on track. We will start him over either a mile or a mile and a quarter. The Classic Trial at Sandown Park could be a good starting point for him.
