Doctor Who

I never watched DW when I was younger but now in my mid 30's I have quite enjoyed these new ones, my OH was a big fan years ago & he liked the first new series with Chris ecclestone but can't get into this series

My children watch it but I could never get into it as a child and haven't bothered to try as an adult. Emily, aged four and a half, hides behind a cushion for the scarey bits

The Satan Pit was excellent, yes. I am not sure which of the two new series I have preferred, they have both been brilliant entertainment.

Billie Piper is leaving at the end of this series, which has been rumoured now for a couple of weeks

I haven't enjoyed this series as much as the last one, with the exception of Girl in the Fireplace. I thought the last series had much better stories, Empty Child, Father's Day, Bad Wolf all spring to mind as being better than anything this series has produced.

Well after 2 of the worst bits of TV I have every seen, this weeks episode I thought was excellent. Daleks and Cybermen in the same episode :)

And of course the 'will Rose die as all the papers say' question is (in my mind) a big one. I mean - firstly how can she tell the story of how she died if she is dead, and secondly, well lets just say there is more than one ending filmed for next weeks episode!

Cracking stuff tonight didn't you just know there were going to be Daleks in that void ship !

Funnily enough, yes because (knowing I'll come across as a right saddo for noticing this) if you watched the trailer for this weeks episode (the one shown at the end of last weeks episode) although you didnt see a dalek, in one shot you did see a dalek laser weapon thing - so guessed then there would be daleks :)

iant the "this is the story of how i died" a bit of a giveaway?? hope she doesnt die - but i hope Mickey doesnt either - Im really glad theyve brought him back for the last two.Could he be the new sidecick??

I hav'nt wtach any of the new Dr Who until last night - when I was too numb after the English game to change the channel. I thought this was 50 mins of TV beauty - I actually applauded at the final credits. Glad nobody else was around. Isn't Billie Piper the dogs bollocks in that role?

And has there ever been a more resonant score for a TV show. Excellent stuff altogether. You are much better at TV than football.

Somebody was telling me the girl in the fireplace is David Tennant's real life girl friend. If I had the energy these days there would've been a single ankle sock in the washing.

True ! Many would sing through her tights.

BBC have been putting up very small teaser trailers every day about the end of the series. Looks fantastic.
