As for the new sidekick - it is going to be the coloured girl (whose name escapes me) who got cybermanned first in the last episode.(the girl who was emailing the man and asking him to meet )
The first coloured assistant for the Doctor.

Moira or something similar her name will be in it now though.
 
Seemed like a ten-minute item about this on the BBC evening news, yesterday.

Probably more time than they devoted to the lead story! :blink:

The BBC also mentioned it was the first BLACK sidekick for Dr. Who. :confused:

I thought this episode was excellent, possibly only beaten this series by Girl in the Fireplace.

Loved the banter between the Daleks and Cybermen.

Dalek - You are better at one thing
Cybermen - What is that
Dalek - you are better at dying

Cyberman: "This is war"
Dalek: "No this is pest control"

etc :)

Only downside was when Pete saved Rose, how come they didn't get sucked into the void when Daleks and Cybermen from all over the world were being sucked in in a few seconds!

The ending was great I thought, I don't think it could have been handled any better.

Cracking stuff . He just needs to investigate the real Big Brother house next . Undoubtedly full of aliens .
