Pretty good, Overbruv, but nowhere near....

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
Time to die".

Derek Jacobi is in it next week, possibly as the Master!!
I'm almost certain he is.

I love Doctor Who, can't wait for next week, should be awesome, the only disappointment about this week was it being set in present day but no mention of Saxon.
It's all revealed now, Jacobi was The Master, but he's now John Simm, the next 2 episodes should be amazing.

Sublime. Probably the best episode ever and not a dalek in sight.
Just watched this , when i should have been working .Utterly brilliant .

Written by Steven Moffatt who wrote The Girl in the Fireplace - he is just different class .

Somehow he isn't writing any for series 4 :angy: shrug::
I see Jekyll is also written by Steven Moffat. I enjoyed the first episode.

Last week's was ace too. I cannot wait for Saturday. Everyone should watch this to see what good television can be.

No, I don't watch it as I think it is dire - I do possess the ability to switch off the television set, especially if I am not enjoying what I am watching.

I have watched it however on a few occasions, the longest I have lasted before turning it off was around 15 minutes I believe. No matter which way I look at it I can't find it anything other than poor despite David Tennant being in it!

Nobody suggested you couldn't turn off a TV set. Don't be so aggressive. Try a whole episode, you may surprise yourself. It is very well written, acted and thought out.

No trailers seen this week, hope that isn't an indication of lack of confidence from the beeb, can't wait for this episode, looks incredible

Paul, can you possibly understand that there are some people out there who don't think the programme is any good, let alone as wondrous as you seem to think it is? Your assertion that "Everyone should watch this to see what good television can be" along with your constant implications that if someone watched an entire episode they'd see how wonderful it is is a nonsense - good TV is entirely a matter of taste and simply because you think something is the mutt's nuts doesn't mean that everyone sees it as so. Equally, what is it to you to persuade everyone how amazing it is? It's almost as though you see it as a personal affront if everyone doesn't agree with you that it's the best thing since sliced bread. I think it's bollocks; glorified kids TV and not any good to boot. Allow me that opinion please without patronising me by telling me if I watched every episode I would like it - I won't.

I havent seen anything about this weeks (other than the trailer they showed directly after last weeks one) either - but Id guess it has as much to do with wanting to keep the suspense as anything else. Dont know what I'll do after this ends adn before HP comes out - where will I get my fix of fantasy (apart from reading posts on here!!) now???

I missed the last 5 minutes of last week's episode when a sudden downpour temporarily knocked out the satellite signal - is it getting a repeat? Or have I missed that too?

Pot and kettle??

You will also notice that I suggested you try a whole episode. Hardly taking a personal affront. Calm down you will live longer.

That is bollocks.

Didn't think much of the finale

Looks like the Sun was correct in saying Martha was leaving

Jack is the Face of Bo

Apart from that pretty poor

Last few words spoken identical to season 2's final words :(

I thought they tried to cram too much into too short a time. Shame they killed The Master off too, John Simm was having far too much fun in the role and it would have been nice to see him pop up again.
