Dog Training - Help Required.

??????? Now I'm really confused - I only know you live in Germany cos of the " I live in Germany and post about that " or similar that you put on another topic......

What else about you do I know?? :brows:

trudij,

- ( hes loveable, kind, stubborn, bloody-minded, no real malice in him, and has a very short attention span - .

Having my profile was a joke on your description of your horse.

The only thing you know about me is what you get off the message boards,it amounts to nil.

Sorry if i offended you,it was not my intention.

---------------------

I see that a sense of humour is not a requirement on this board. :D

I see that a sense of humour is not a requirement on this board.

Now why am I not surprised Derek doesn't find the rest of us hilarious .....

Funny - I usually find if I'm in the minority of one, it just might be me that has the problem, not the rest of world............ <_<

But there, that's just an off-the-wall, wild, illogical female kinda way of looking at life, I guess......... B)

Songsheet.
I know at least two others on this board who are also pissing against the wind.

That is over 50% of the regular posters, the rest are Effing Moderators stirring up the manure.

I could say go away in short jerky movements and take the pills that your vet pescribed.
:D

But i won't :)

I went to put Sheila in her kennel last night and she just sauntered in and snuggled down on her bed next to her shaggy hot water bottle without any encouragement. I'd stuck a small clock in the hot water bottle cover as somebody told me the ticking replicated the sound of a heart beat. No yelping or whimpering was to be heard.

I opened the kennel this morning and out she came with the yawn and stretch of a dog who had had a good night's sleep.

Maybe she was just exhausted and tonight will be a different story, but for the moment you can call me Billy Smart. I still have the radio card to play, as the only little portable one we have had run out of batteries.

Derek - you didnt offend me - just confused me !!! ( and if you've been training Po by telepathy, then I can hold you responsible...... ;) ) Sometimes people on here get really upset if they think people have access to "personal" information - daft I know, but they do.

have told you before - its nigh on impossible to piss me off, so i wouldnt even try !!

and no, you dont nececcarily need a sense of humour on this board - it does help though !! but you do need to have a sense of the ridiculous and be able to ignore nasty comments aimed at you. ( not YOU personally I dont mean - you as in anyone generally - oh- you know what I mean!! )

I'll shut up now......

Trudij,
the last hing i want to do,is piss you off.

I said that i was sorry because you appeared to be receiving a message that i had not sent (wrongly worded, whatever)

I do have a sense of humour and whatever is said to or about me on this board raises a smile and i reply in kind.

Then i smile even more at the reactions. (not from you,i hasten to add)

Mel - thats great - the clock is one way I hadnt ever really believed works - ( I got it from a Jilly Cooper book! ) but it obviously does help. We leave the radio on if we all go out - and my dogs are both 9 - they just like the voices. Good luck with her - hope she turns into everything you want her to. :)

Keep us posted of the progress Melendez. I am hoping to be the owner of a dog very soon, as soon as I can find a really cat friendly dog! We are going to do our research and won't rush into anything as we want a dog we can take into the office too, so nothing too yappy either. I am picking up some great tips on this thread so thanks everyone!
