Dress Codes In Pubs

I've just realised why I have this weird feeling of deja vu about this thread - didn't we have the same thing some time last year, where Paul or o/b (or both) were refused entry to some club or pub? I'm sure we did. The advice I offered then was that the place was wasting its time on clothing standards - it should've been measuring handsome/beauty standards, personal grooming, etc. and rejecting the fat, the short, the skinny and the spotty. I remember Headstrong finding it quite amusing at the time...

Probably. It tends to be my fault. I prefer casual shoes instead of "proper" shoes

I don't have problems getting in wearing these though, which are certainly not shoes

I know someone who was refused entrance to a restaurant once because it said it wouldn't let anyone in without a sunny disposition. One look at his face.............
