Was similar not said of Harchibald? I think we will know a lot more about the horse after a couple of runs in open company regardless of trip and pace. I would be shocked and disappointed if he does not take on the Champion at Punchestown. Who are they afraid of?

In today's Irish Field Donn McClean mentions that Dunguib " would be a really exciting novice chaser next season if Phillip Fenton and his owners were minded to go down that route."
