Equine Retirements, Long Term Injuries and Departures

Economics was colic apparently. I have seen posts on Facebook saying it was cruel to have sent him to India. Why? The stud where he was, Poonawalla Stud, has top class facilities and a resident vet plus two consultant vets. He was a horse who was a serial bleeder which would have made him unappealing to breeders in this country. I think it's wrong to infer that care in India wasn't good enough. A large majority of stable staff working in the UK are from that continent and no-one is mentioning that.

That’s good to know. I guess my first thought was of him being so far from home.
