Fontwell racecourse has various tribute bands after racing during the warmer months, and the ABBA tribute was excellent - not that I stayed beyond the first couple of numbers. But it does tend to bring out the excess in even the staidest heart - two of our larger gatemen, one an ex-copper, sported long gold and silver tinsel wigs for the occasion. The ex-cop is threatening a bustier and fishnet tights if anyone does Tina Turner...

We had a runner in the last at one of the ABBA nights at Fontwell Kri - there were about 13 horses in the race if I remember rightly, and every one of us was singing along while we washed off the horses!! Brilliant fun.
