Favourite Series Of All Time

That would have been a very good and apt name Merlin, don't know if it would have been an infringement of copyright or anything which is the only reason I can see for it being rejected.

Blackadder - loved them all 9 especially 3 and 4 but feel a word should be said to defend Series 1 . OK a few things did not come off but the episode with The Archbishop and the one when he was due to marry Miriam Margolyes was brilliant

Used to like Ballykissangel and thoroughly enjoyed The Lakes and Twin Peaks.

This year's six episodes of Monarch of the Glen will be the last and is a bit of escapism, I know the plot's wafer thin but I am an admirer of Dawn Steel currently appearing in Sea of Souls.

They have promised a happy ending.

I like happy endings !

ER, Twin Peaks, D H looks promising, Nip/Tuck. Anything with Neil Pearson in.

Anyone see Horizon on Saturday? Now that was seriously depressing!

OC, Spooks, This Life, Teachers ( not a big of teachers after andrew lincoln left though) and that bbc program about connin people..

Teachers is and always has been unmitigated rubbish . Find me a teacher who ever has the time to muck about like that lot .

Second , any teacher passing cigarettes to kids would be almost certain to be sacked .

It is absolute bilge

Shameless however is brilliant - then again I think I have acted for half of the characters in it :D

I don't think that in real life too many hotel owners go around insulting their customers, or elderly retired grumpy gentlemen cause mayhem in the lives of others, or priests from rural parishes on wild islands create havoc or...

Ah well, I like it - mainly due to Andrew Lincoln thoughg, it has to be said! B)

I have to agree with you Ardross about those two episodes in Series 1 of Blackadder - the ones with the multiple murders of the Archbishops of Canterbury & the one with the Spanish Infanta - the bit where Edmund told his father with great ceremony that the Infanta wasn't a virgin only to be told "well, I KNOW that..." was classic.
