Poor day yesterday. For a Monday I have got a lot of races/bets. And because of my recent form I have decided to split today into morning and afternoon. If I blowout this afternoon I probably won't post again this evening. If I do post it will be around 6pm, the 5 races I have got to look would you believe don't start until 8pm.

Somehow I have just deleted prices etc, I am not going to type them in again, you will just have to take my word for it.

First of all apologies for the issues today. I am finding running this system and keeping the family happy quite hard work. I am thinking that I will take the weekends off, as especially Saturday there is just too many races.

The result's were better today, this evening I decided that 3rd position was not providing enough winners and I would just save on that selection. Typically there were two winners tonight from that position, but I still think it's the right thing to do. I won 10.55pts profit today, 0.25pts this afternoon and 10.30pts this evening.

The next two days look a little quieter. I do feel that I am learning as I go along, and hopefully this will mean, I will make fewer mistakes .

I have had to add Jet Packer as bet, as his price has switched round with Falmouth Lad. I have noticed usually when this occurs, not surprisingly FL will probably run bad, but JP could run well.

Yesterday loss means the balance is now a negative one (-3.67pts). I don't think this is the worse idea I have ever come up with, but is it all worth the effort ?

I am starting to run out of ideas. One that I can think off now. Is only bet in races where I have a selection that is priced 5/1 or less. Not more than one priced 5/1 or less, but there needs to be at least one # when I check at 9.00 - 9.30am.

There are two races today (It was always going to be a quiet day)

I really cant understand how you could ever make any system pay for itself when you are picking 5 horses in a 9 horse race. If none of your selections win you are putting a dent in your bank, if the shortest price selection wins you will most likely still end up with a loss in the race.
I just dont understand the logic, it seems like throwing a load of darts in the hope that one hits the bullseye.
Betting should be a bit of fun, unless you are a professional punter, and I cant see where the fun is in the betting system that you use.

Hi, I had a gambling problem when I was younger. Systems have always kept me under control, I can't just bet for fun. I still enjoy watching the better class races, especially over the Jumps in the winter. I use a tipping service for the big meetings, I recently made a nice profit on the golf, but that was system orientated. I can't bet haphazardly, I just blame myself, and chase my losses. Thank you for your interest, I hope in some way this helps anyone else, that is or has had a gambling addiction.

Rajinoora wins the 8pm, but I think it's time I closed this thread down. I am somewhere between 5.00 and 10.00pts down. I am thinking I will start a new thread tomorrow, being that it's 1st August. It will be on a similar line to this one, but perhaps with slightly less races selected. I will give it some thought overnight. I have attempted many a system over the years, and I still have hope for this. One thing I do know, it's not easy to win at racing, without eventually giving your profit back.
