Can’t let the Jumps Season fade away without a final flourish. Still in Madeira, so no bets and just some fancies springing to mind for fun.

Has had a good first season here and has the class to keeping going. Not Harry Cobden’s choice, though.
2:25 - The Real Whacker
Great things were expected, but only disappointment came to pass. The talent is there though, so the final chance to redeem himself.
3:00 - Jonbon
He seems to have become hesitant in his jumping and I’m not convinced Henderson horses are back to full fettle, nonetheless I’ll take him to match El Fabiolo.
3:35 - Does He Know
It was a good win last time, but he had a hard race and he’s up in grade here. Can see him in the first half dozen, though.
4:10 - Impaire Et Passé
Class horse of the race and should win doing handstands.
4:45 - Golden Son
If you can put a line through his last run he has the form to feature in this one. Chancy though.
5:20 - Lookaway
I thought he ran a really good race behind two top-notchers last time at Aintree and he has his ground for this one.
So that’s it. Goodbye Jumps for another season, let’s hope it’s less muddy for the next one.
