Krizon's thoughts on the "Rome" thread have made me come over all American film like, so I now declare the official, "Fings Wot Comes From Sweatyland, Innit" thread open.

Post all of your Scottish-ness here. Declare your Scottish-ness here. Oi Queenie, I'm being just a little bit rebellious ya Garman boot, come and crush me if you think you're hard enough.

O flower of Scotland
When will we see
Your like again
That fought and died for
Your wee bit hill and glen
And stood against him
Proud Edward's army
And sent him homeward
Tae think again

The hills are bare now
And autumn leaves lie thick and still
O'er land that is lost now
Which those so dearly held
And stood against him
Proud Edward's army
And sent him homeward
Tae think again

Those days are passed now
And in the past they must remain
But we can still rise now
And be the nation again
And stood against him
Proud Edward's army
And sent him homeward
Tae think again

Could a Moderator exercise their delete facility on Bigeeps post please. Although I appreciate the sentiment, it is, of course, a tonic wine imported from those persons who reside to the south of Scotland, collectively known as "The English" (spits from side of mouth) and as such has no place in such a thread. :D

As the entire stock is exported to Scotland year after year it has to qualify.

In return Scotland supplies England with 85% of those who sleep in cardboard boxes under Waterloo Bridge.

Well a country needs to dump it's junkie gadgies somewhere. In the meantime, here's something else they enjoy in Uddingston.

I would strongly dispute that, Lord H!!

It's known as "Lurgan wine" round this neck of the woods... they don't even sell proper wine down that way...

Well done Brian, you are getting into the spirit of things. Thinking of taking out honorary Scotsmanship?

Since your google-fu is clearly better than mine, perhaps you could locate that picture of Jim Baxter sitting on the ball for me?

I'm afraid I can't find it, but here instead is a picture of the last Scottish winning team...
