I believe Colin did something similar to this a few years back or maybe DD, anyhow just to note the FTH of the Cheltenham runners and see if we can get some pennies, from a very basic choice of selection:

13.20 Kopek Des Bordes, Karniquet & William Munny
14.40 Farouk d'Alene & Guard your Dreams
16.00 State Man
16.40 Sony Bill, Total Look, Holy See (I like this) Beyond your Dreams & Hot Fuss
17.20 Rock My Way & Klark Kent

Great. Thanks for that. It was Diamond Geezer that did it ( oh how I miss him on here) and I still try to follow it. I was struggling with working out where it tells you on the Racing Post race card. I also can’t work out where it tells you about wind ops.

On the RP site card, usually just after the horse's name there's a > sign and next to that are the abbreviations. First-time headgear has 1 next to it. They include a 2 for second run after a wind op.

3 in first four in the first right including a huge priced 4th. Paul Townend doesn’t usually ride in the big handicaps does he so I can’t ignore Sony Bill. I’ve already backed Hot Fuss and Holy See AP.

It brings back memories this does as when Roger has first come up with it someone brought the idea over to our forum and it was the Tuesday Jezki won the champion hurdle another selection won and Pipe had the outsider of the lot was it something like western warhorse in the Arkle first time headgear and because it was such a big outsider nobody had bothered to back it. I think the system went 3 for 3 that day and cemented itself in forum system folklore for ever. God bless Roger who truly was a diamond geezer.
