I thought that Baby Swirley's Daddy's suggestion was a good one, and this would cheer us up during the misery that is Christmas.

I will adminsiter a forum Arse contest. To play you either self nominate or be nominated by two other members, or else I'll just chuck you in if I don't like you.

I would consider this a badge of honour and nominate myself. I also nominate

An, to be an accredited Arse event, the Arse needs to come first.

Arse Forumite Cup would be fine.
 
Each entrant should have to post a thread in each match to convince voters of how much of an arse they actually are, rather than just voting on what we know about them.

I nominate myself and would like to open my election campaign with a statement of the bleedin' obvious - namely that, myself excluded, the entire membership of Royston Vaisey (aka Talking Horses) wouldn't know an arse from an incisive valuable contributor if a juggernaut with ''Valuable Forumite - Produce of Basingstoke'' - written on it ran over them. :lol:

As a serial grammar correcter and pointlessly frequent poster, I believe my case to be fairly strong. I also manage to offend people on here fairly often either on purpose or by accident (which is the true measure of arse I think)I also agree with Ian Davies on an alarmingly regular basis and as such, should be fairly short in the betting :P
 
But, being a girlie, I am worried...

What sort of arse are we talking here, people?

Rhetoric arse or physical arse or a combo of both?

In other words, the gist of this man's argument for being Forum Arse is that he's a bit like me.

Feeble. :lol:

PDJ is, in point of fact, a rather agreeable bloke, who looks beyond the obvious and sees humour where others cannot.

As such, he makes a very poor arse.

In and among the itinerant Micks, the green welly mob, the wannabe trainers, the wannabe wannabes, the left-footer God botherers, the Surrey playboys, and the socially dysfunctional chasers of all things Swirly, one man stands out as an intellectual giant, destined to be rejected as arse by the ignorant masses in this dismal neck of the woods.

And the name of that man is IAN DAVIES.
