Edgt dropped in a big bag of roasted flax seed on his way home from the Curragh last night. I'll be eating like a horse for the next 12 months. Look out for a big finish to the flat season!!!

The thing with Gamla Stan, you don't need to see his selections, just get on the filthy EWs and anything foreign and double up if its Japanese :-)

If this was meant to draw me in, it worked. I've backed more Japanese animals than bad EW horses in the last 12 months for certain! :p

Problem is now, on the day to day stuff, there's no value putting your opinions in public until you're on yourself as the prices are so vulnerable to disappearing in seconds. Most of my business is done overnight now (on tomorrows racing) in Lads shops and a couple of 365 accounts I have nurtured.

On a separate note, I have just got a bit bored of the forum and found Twitter provides enough scope for debate on both racing and punting these days. Also, as people don't hide behind anonymous names on there, they tend to be a bit nicer to one another too!

Warbler was a very good judge but a bit like Nick Mordin, you had to read through pages and pages to get to the conclusion and the bet!

The problem with Twitter is that everyone agrees with everyone too often. Far too much backslapping and as Gamla Stan eludes too if you've really spotted something are you going to put it on Twitter?

Agreed but this forum has overstepped the mark on personal levels many times before, had healthy debates on Twitter without ever it getting personal. 160 characters hard to debate things in length though.

I tend to just chat about the days racing on Skype with a few friends I've met through different racing circles be it on here or Twitter or in person.

Fair enough on all points and as you said most things worth knowing should never be put up online unless you and your circle are on.
