Just spent a happy hour or so re-running the races of these two. What a pair of racehorses :adore::adore::adore:

Their first try at 1m2f was interesting and run in very similar fashion. Both held right at the back, both just cruised through the field on the bit whilst others started flailing away, both then asked a fairly gentle question and both then powered away to win with consummate ease. Both stunning performances in their own right.

Aye: it's no coincidence they had the first try at 10f at York either. It's a sharp flat track and almost certain to suit the nascent middle distance colt.
Both Henry Cecil and Wm Haggas knew this. York's less of a stamina test than other 10f GP1s, despite some arguing to the contrary.

It's disappointing that Baeed is not going to the Arc, and Frankel never attempted the classic distance of 12f either.

I just wish people would stop comparing them.

Look back at what Frankel beat Cirrus Des Aigles Nathanial Exelobration Fahr Sir Nicholas Abbey Twice Over not to metion the brilliant Canford Cliffs.

The won group 1's like they were going out of fashion.

Baaeed has beaten Mishriff who got his ass kicked yet again a few days ago.

135 rating my ass His sire would have kicked him right into touch let alone Frankel.
