Here's one I feel compelled to back tomorrow:
Asadjumeirah - 7.15 Newcastle 4/1 Ew
Before his last run at Wolverhampton, I wrote this:
]He made very nice headway that day @ Newcastle over 6f and could well appreciate this extra furlong.
He won on Feb 10th last year and is rated 5Lbs lower than his last win on the AW @ Newcastle. He won't mind the tapeta surface.
Given that, he looks a decent ew bet at the current fantastic 8/1.
I really do recommend you watch his last run. (26 Jan Newc 7.30)
This would be my strongest fancy of the day.
The run referred to in that note was over tomorrow's c/d (6f) but in a C4. He made eye-catching progress in the final furlong, under claimer Zac Wheatley, which simply had to noticed. Next run (lto,, Cl4 again) they upped him to 7f with Cam Hardie up. As written above, I fancied him if he was to get the extra furlong. Unfortunately, it didn't work out but tomorrow I could recoup losses.
He's back to Newcastle, back to 6f, dropped into Cl 5 and 2Lbs lighter than that last Newcastle run - 7Lbs below his LWR at Newcastle, remember.
All-in-all, he looks like a good bet to me.
Waddya reckon?
