Bad day at the office today, onwards and upwards.
The 530 at York tomorrow I have 6 alerts running, decisions decisions.
Riot
Ash Wednesday
Stockpyle. Well backed tonight
Yasser
Thankyouappreciate it's about time they tried this 7f.the problem is he keeps missing the break.
Ormolulu 16 /1 is the one I'm relying on.usually runs on the a/w.his last 3 runs have been on turf.
His last run he was 11th of 13 but he couldn't get through and coasted in but wasn't beaten far and was going better than  Sword who some fancy for the International.
over at thirsh ive done a rare 2yr old and i kept looking for a price and it went 12s,9s,6s now 5s i managed 6s.Lifeplan 325.Got an entry in the gimcrack.the reason i looked at it was the jockey always rides Thankyouappreciate and isnt tomorrow so i looked for him and this 8s his only ride.
same trainer.
Juan les pins 713y 9/2 Is getting expensive to follow and 9/2 is poor for a field this big.
I've done a little ew on raatea 50/1

On Saturday

In the International I have done Akkadian thunder 16/1 a/p
Galeron 28/1 I thought I had backed it earlier but missed the price.
O'Meara complicates matters by running 5.
In the Dash at York ive done Pocklington 8/1
Arctic thunder 12/1
and Sergeant wilko 25/1

in the 315a ive done Hawksbill 25/1 who didnt run too badly at royal ascot when drawnn on the wrong side.
in the last at ascot i could do 2 but no prices yet
rhythm and Hooves Drawn 13. And Woohampton drawn 1.which could be a problem.

Good luck and have a good weekend.

Quite a lot to get through. 9 races with noted runners for Saturday, but only one race with more than 1, so makes things a little easier.
I've washed my hands of Riot.
Thankyouappreciate is a note of mine, but feel it might struggle to get 7F on this ground (even if it dries to GD which is likely), plus the draw is a negative, as it was last time.
Ash Wednesday went in my book LTO, but think it could have run to 74 and races off 76. Not a lot in it, but I'm 'probably' going to pass.

Only other race with noted runners is the 7:13.
Equiano Springs , but it's not Newmarket. Historically not so good at York or on this going.
Raatea, who knows. Has gone well fresh, but this wind op? Should be Ok on ground, and has gone well at Doncaster on similar going. Kind of tempted to have a throw away small punt on it.
Sugar Baby was in Thankuappreciates last run too and looked unlucky, I noted it could have run to 73 off 70, same claimer today and with the ground likely to end up GD by 7:13 might be worth an EW dabble. I think it can run a decent race today, off what could be 3lb well in. Took 15/1 and 5/1 for the place. Also a small EW bet on Raatea at 60/1 and 20/1 for the place.

That's me for today.

Good luck.

Ormolulu 5th .waiting for room again.ran on well.some jockey decisions baffle me at times.still a profit.

I've posted my Saturday selections on another thread.
Raatea ran OK, I think the aim will be Doncaster in September. The writing was on the wall for Sugar Baby from 3 out.

Nice detective work with Lifespan. Well done (y)
