Ah, but you've always professed to liking rain!!

As for the original post, it is priceless, you gotta admit.

OK, I give in.

It's clearly a racing forum, care to tell us which one, UG shrug::

I think, as Colin found out, if you mention the name of the Forum this thread will vanish....

Just to change the subject. I was reflecting on language and translations just know. Do you know that in Irish the word 'Ard' means 'High,' and in French the word 'Fin' means 'Ended.'

Just thinking.

:what:

What about a bit of reflecting on spelling as well, An? :D

Just thinking.....

Amusingly old hat UG - after-timing as usual I note!

Why is it that other racing forums always cause such a frisson of fear among the well-established ones? To the point the name can't even be mentioned - something I seem to remember Col finding unacceptable several years ago when any mention of TH was removed on The Racing Forum....

The exception to the above is Ted's Shed, which has enough confidence in its own membership base to worry not one whit about a new forum on the block....

It might be worth suggesting that if those rules were dumped days ago, that they are removed from the homepage of the site then??!

Or you could be barking up completely the wrong tree...

Oh come, come, that's hardly going to happen, is it, Gareth?! shrug::

I think what seems to have escaped most people is the degree of hypersensitivity prevailing nowadays - as some would say, "relax, it's only a forum"!!
