Games Consoles

Front runners and horses just behind the pace are my forte Martin. Don't bother driving until they start to come to you and even then just give it a couple of squeezes to keep it up thereabouts - leave it as late as possible to kick.

Now if you can just tell me how to get those hold up horses to not finish last.... :D

A trick I used on the harder levels of G1J3 was to run hold up horses just behind the pace - they don't gather as much potential but it doesn't make too much difference - I may try that.
 
I always ride up with the pace, I manged about 14 seconds before my first win and same in G races - was so annoying I kept getting done on the line by something coming down the outside.

You tried free mode yet Simmo? Some great jumps courses in there :)

Not yet, did try a race with Dayjur up against every great sprinter of the last 20 years over the Normandy straight 5f and got well stuffed.

I'm not really into the jumps races - and they look even more silly jumping the fences in this version.
 
I always get beat my Miesque in those, I like the platform and the slopes etc on some of the jump tracks. Keep thinking if they did Cheltenham Festival and then Punchestown and the National course - or at least the unique races from them like the National itself, X Country Chase and La Touche.

:lol: Same here, Mr GG may have all manner of consoles including the new Xbox 360 but the last time I played games like that was 20 years ago on my Spectrum +2 :lol:
 
I have a PS2 but never play it, the PS1 i had was on the other hand never off and i loved playing Final Fantasy V111 and the Madden American football games. I`ll be tempted to get PS3 when it comes out.
