I like the French horse Brigantin. Looks an improver,top stable (only runner this week),handles any ground & worth a few bob eachway at 20's.

Jenny Bond was better than Carson when offering commentary on the royal procession. She would have been better than Carson if she'd stayed for the whole card.

Really goes to show how lucky we are with RUK when we have to put up with the BBC and ATR for this meeting. RUK is just in a league of it's own.

I've only seen one race on the Beeb (that was by mistake) but having Aussie Jim as race commentator sums up their whole approach. Doesn't anyone at the BBC take a critical look at what their putting out?

I think they figure a large portion of the watching population are watching for the event/fashion as much as the Racing.

He noticeably thanked Mr and Mrs of the Hays, Magniers, Tabors and Smiths. They then asked him how great it was to ride for AOB - Spencer replied with a huge smile, 'well, we probably get on a lot better than we did back then!'. O'Brien was smiling but he looked uncomfortable. Very funny.
