May I wish you all a very happy (Chinese) New Year. It's the Year of the Dragon, which is a symbol of power and strength, which some of us could use after the past financially feeble years! Have a good one, folks.

Well, I've copied the words off a flyer given to me in one of our best Chinese supermarkets, following a great lunch of dim sum at the China Garden, Chef. We wished and were wished gongayfatchoy a few dozen times - very nice. I bought lots of amazingly tasty Chinese noodle dishes for snackies later, including a delicious seaweed (laver) which can be added to soups for a bit of a kick. A very Chinese day all round! Oh, yes, also remembered to rub the marble Fo dog's head for good luck!
