Agree that he didn't have the best of runs but so many at Goodwood this week have suffered in the same way, quite a few of them ridden by Hughsey.

That's the one, Colin. Once a gap came though about 2 out he flew through it.

I've never been a fan of Hughes, but I've been more than willing to admit that he's been riding well for quite a while now. Recently he seems to have thrown in a few shockers though.

I think of Richard Hughes as more 'a horseman' than a jockey.

Someone who as an owner (if only) I would gladly employ but as a punter I'm not so sure.
