Given proper soft ground I could see him running a good race.
He looked a proper strong unit when I saw him the last day so I think he might get the trip.
Admittedly there'll be others with better form, as beating L Homme Presse these days isn't that hard, but I do like Spillane's Tower.
Like so many other races though, this is a cursed event for me, hence why I've never got much to say about it.
I think the best I've ever done was when Monty's Pass came fourth and I had it each way, which says a lot.
I'll probably back Spillane's Tower nearer the time if those good heavens do indeed open up, and definitely the horse Ian Davies fancies, Stellar Story.

I'm still going keep faith in Haiti Coloure if he runs, after running flat in the gold cup. Many Clouds flipped in Gold cup before winning the National

I've swapped my antepost from 16/1 to NRNB 25/1, with small loss, but better result if goes.
I think so, they were the first last year as well (7th March).

Nick Rockett has been declared to run in the 3:38 race at Down Royal this Tuesday. It's a five-runner conditions chase over three and a quarter miles where two of the other runners are set to be Gerri Colombe and Percival Legallois.
