I became one at around 02:30 this morning. A bonnie baby boy called Thomas, who can currently ride at 7lbs 15oz.

Anyone who has met me will confirm that this is a crime against humanity on looks alone, but I must say......I'm quite chuffed.

I wish my grandson a long, fulfilling and happy life.

Congratulations all round Grassy.

I can just imagine the bedtime stories: "...the others were all flat out out and Carberry was sitting still as a statue on our hero Harchibald..."

Congrats! I have to say I made my mother a grandma earlier than she expected but have warned my son (currently 23) that I dont expect to hear any pitter patter till I am at least 50 :)

Remember - the best thing about being a grandparent is that you can hand them back :)

I want happy-endings rather than horror-stories for my grandson, tracks.

:D

Thanks fot all for the good wishes.

Warmest wishes to you, Mum and Dad, and the baby Aquarian, Grassy. A truly unique star sign, known to produce high intellects, inventiveness, creativity and occasionally stone bonking eccentricity! You're unlikely to have a dull moment when young Thomas begins to ask, if not interrogate, his family about life, the universe, and everything. Good weight, too, so he sounds like he's off to a healthy start. I wish him a fascinating and fabulous life.

Congratulations....my mum and dad have had the best years of their lives with our children.....enough time to enjoy them!!
