Grumpy Old Women

What a brilliant programme BBC's Grumpy Old Women is. I've long been a big fan of it & it's sister programmes, Grumpy Old Men & It's Grim Oop North as they are so hysterically funny. The Christmas edition of GOW is on tonight & it's fantastic. One of the best Grumpy Old Women on it is Arabella Weir by a mile - she really makes me laugh. I loved her comment that the one redeeeming part of Christmas Day is that you have permission to get on the drink by 10am - so true as well! My ex mother-in-law didn't drink much & I felt she was a little disapproving of me having a drink but I remember her forcing a campari & soda on me at 10am Christmas Day!
