Is the last course featured Pontefract? (looks Like Advanced in the second last piccy)

I only ask because I don't recognise it and it is a long time since I've been there.

Certainly is, the last 2 are at Ponty and bonus points for Advanced beating Thebes. I was going to add more and add captions but have to dash to work.

Great photos GS, especially the lockinge finish.

How is the camera working out for you?

It's bloody brilliant, best £270 I've spent and I got a right bargain looking how much it is now on Amazon. Considering splashing out on a better lens this week with my Look Busy winnings.

I went to see Girls Aloud last week and the lens just wasn't zoomy enough...

Virtual took quite a liking to my camera, had a good old nosey on two laps of the parade ring as you can see!

I'll post more later as Flickr is blocked at work.

one thing is sure you must have stood right next to us - jimmy basicly took the same photo with his newish D 90 :)

Great pictures GS, the horse's in the close ups look like they are staring straight at you maybe you was destined for photography?

I liked the feeble attempts at trying to corral the loose horse, GS - give them a red cape - they look like they're trying their hand at bullfighting! Thanks for sharing all of those with us.

I still maintain, after all the satire and comedy I've watched, there isn't many funnier things than watching a bunch of clueless people try to catch a loose horse. Waving our arms should help a bit!

The building was Wakefield Kirkgate station on the way back from Pontefract, a first rate shithole.

Someone once "said never catch a loose horse or you could be stuck with it all day".

This season I caught Afsoun and Gwanako with my intuitive horsemanship Monty Roberts technique of grabbing the reins.
