Hairstyles

It looks like there are a few blondes babes amongst the ladies on here! A girl that worked for me for a few years is now my hairdresser and pops round every 6 weeks to do my roots and have a nice girly chat! B) I hate going to hairdressers!

I just got lazy during the summer and let it go. Then when I realised not shaving would save me 20 minutes in the morning, which would be better spent on beauty sleep, I decided to keep it till I can get another job nearer home and giving more time in the morning.

I hate growing a beard I find it really itchy if I have not shaved for a few days .

How people can shave their.... I won't go further with that topic

Went to get mine trimmed yesterday, bloody hairdressers shuts at 5!!! Now I am going to look like Shaggy from Scooby Doo for another week!!

Changed hairdressers yesterday after more years than I want to think about.. Went to Bath and had a cut at a salon recommended by my son. Have to say am pretty pleased with the result... Very cutting edge in fact.. B)

Over the last few years I have been keeping mine short. During the last few years, however I have been trying to copy the look of one of my footballing heroes by cultivating a small island of hair just above my forehead, slightly moated from the rest of my blonde locks. Thank you, Alan Shearer !!

Decision time - do I get all my hair hacked off and dye it darkish red?? I've got ( as mentioned before ) a bit longer than shoulder length blonde shrub ( am avoiding the B word to describe it for obvious reasons <_< ), that I often have ginger highlights put in - but my hair is getting darker now ( but is still about 4 colours naturally ) - and as the winter is coming in and I will start a new job soon, I fancy a change....... and if it is going to be stuffed under a hat four times a day, it would be nice if i could not worry about it when I remove it ( the hat - not my hair ) PLUS I get really hot when I lead up - so have it up always - should i get it cut?? should I dye it?? trouble is, it goes nearly straight when I have it longer - and i know it will go mad curly when it starts to grow ( if i go for the chop ) HELP !!! WHAT SHALL I DO ???

I got my hair cut today. I wasn't sure whether it was a compliment when the hairdresser remarked along the lines of, "That's some head of hair you've got."

I replied that I was just glad to still have some.

A new gents barber's has opened recently in town so I might check it out next time. It's off the beaten track so might be cheaper still...

Unfortunately I'm still too young-looking to dare to ask for a senior citizen's discount.

Trudij, have it cut short. If you are starting a new job, it's a good time to have a new hair cut too. If you don't like it, it will soon grow back!

Go the whole hog, have a new cut and a new colour, and I am sure you will look fab! :D

£5 ??? !!!!! :o :angy: I pay £25 for just a cut - and up to £70 for highlights and a cut !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Been thinking of getting mine highlighted and feathered though was trying to explain to me mate what feathered was before.
He came to the conclusion i'll look like a duck by the end of it ;)

Expensive business...indeed some time ago I decided it would be an idea to brighten my hair a little bit, and now it's kind of dyed blondish with a semi mullet. Very disturbing.

Not sure if it's worth the abuse. The other night I was asked if I thought I was in Hollywood and then someone else started calling me McGuyver
