Deffo weighted to win this problem is Nicholls' runners first time out having been running as fat and out of shape as he is. I'd want a bigger price.

He's also got a good record on his reappearance.
I wouldn't be confident of nailing the winner in this race.

As we know Reet Cue Card needs 3 miles plus to be seen at his best:lol: But then he can always take the scenic route on the wide outside to compensate.

It's a bit like the old days this race..............good horse giving lumps of weight away.

Colin Tizzard is adamant Cue Card is fit for this and considering he won this 1st time out in the past there's no reason to think otherwise.

Whether he is fit enough to give weight and a beating to Somersby and Balder Succes is another matter.

He beat Somersby by 8 lengths off levels but that was over 2m5f a trip Somersby is totally unsuited by.

Mick Channon will have him fit as a flea for this and the 7lbs he gets is a big plus at this time of the season but he might find these a touch too speedy in the closing stages.

Balder Succes was beaten by Gods Own off level but it's hard to believe that the improvement by Gods Own after being beaten by Balder Succes getting 7lbd will stand up here.

Cue card at his best might struggle to give him 10lbs and to me it
s weight that's the key to this race.

Alan Kings horses are in good form and If Balder Succes has come back in as an improved horse I think Cue Card will struggle to give him the weight.

Hinterland won first time out last season beating Alan Kings Turn Over Sivola but he wouldn't blow wind up Balder Succes backside.

I'll be surprised if a mere 6 lbs is enough to bring Hinterland and Balder Succes together.

The other 2 look out of their league.

Balder Succes look the most likely winner

Balder for me at a generous 100/30.

Cue Card struggled to give the weight last year and has a longer absence to overcome here. Nicholls' horses aren't running well first up so that puts me off Hinterland.

Only value when they win DO :)

Cue Card has been matched from 4.5 to currently 3.6
Hinterland 5.2 to 4.4 Currently 4.4
Balder has been on the drift low as 3.65 currently 4.9

I still can't have Hinterland though, he's abit of a monkey and I have never trusted him since he lost to Baby Mix at 2/7......He's also been beaten on 2 other occasions at long odds on,,,,,,

I backed Balder at 4.1 earlier but the Value bet has to be a dutch @11/10 on Cue Card and Balder Succes who look different class. So I have done that as well....
