I'd just like to wish everyone here..including all who i may well have annoyed:)..a very good Christmas.

Its been a different year for me..i took redundancy in May and have been adapting my life to suit..been strange tbh...gives you a different perspective on life..what the f00k everything is all about etc

but all through that TH has been a constant..and i thank you all for that

All the best to everyone here from these towers

Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year to all at Talking Horses

I would love to believe that when I die I will live again, that some thinking, feeling, remembering part of me will continue. But much as I want to believe that, and despite the ancient and worldwide cultural traditions that assert an afterlife, I know of nothing to suggest that it is more than wishful thinking. The world is so exquisite with so much love and moral depth, that there is no reason to deceive ourselves with pretty stories for which there's little good evidence. Far better it seems to me, in our vulnerability, is to look death in the eye and to be grateful every day for the brief but magnificent opportunity that life provides. [Carl Sagan, 1996]

I've just stood in a queue in Marks for 90 mins...to pick up food in a pre-defined slot. Xmas can **** off! ;-)

I'm having a total bah humbug Christmas. Our M&S slot was yesterday morning and we were in and out like a dose of salts [so I should be in a better mood, but I'm not]. But I have just bought a pack of 4 Cherry B's [remember them!] and shall raise a glass to you lot on Christmas Day. Or I may have one now.....

Shabby, pal.....I made up for missing Saturday today.....already ruining Xmas with various bad-language shouts against Merv King. Will see you on Old Years Night, pal....though lots of filthy jumps chat to come before that.

Happy Xmas everyone - here's to more winners and endless debates about CH sectionals in 2015! Best wishes to you all and your families.

Nice quote by the way SC.

EC - with your almanac the redundancy can only have been a good move financially. Plus it gives you more time to spend with your friend Jack D - winning all round!
