Frankie hasn't really complained but after having too much to say after the Gold Cup maybe that has something to do with it.
Under his breath I can imagine what he was saying.

First off the horse was being an absolute pig and was hanging like a garden gate.

Frankie had his whip in the right hand and was doing everything he could to keep the eratic beast from knocking into the horses on his inner,

Working his butt of to avoid others he used his whip once over the limit but the fact he was using it 4 times to keep the horse straight I think the ban was way out of order.

I hope he appeals but then nothing seems to fluster Frankie he'll probably take a few days to visit his 5 kids.
 
Maybe he thinks he got off lightly, Ross Coakley got a 23 day suspension the week before from the same stewards.
 
Be more in line if the British and Irish stewards took a similar stance. Rules being regularly flaunted and the punishment rarely fits the crime.
 
Totally agree at least in Europe. this is one reason they will never ban the whip in the Uk becuase it would need to be world wide or we'd end up with a load of inexperience whip handlers, in years to come ,running in races like the Arc.
