Really surprised Sprinter is still 3/1 after Nicky saying he's back and looks as good as ever.

I suppose memories of Denman's return is still fresh in a lot of people's minds but would Nicky even consider running him in the Tingle if he felt he wasn't spot on.

He could have had him back for the QMCC chase or if not Cheltenham Aintree but decided to give him all the time he needed to fully recover.

After missing those top prizes I doubt if he'd think twice about running him at Sandown if he was as unfit as Denman was on his return.

I hope they go something around evens on the day at Sandown as even Sire DE Grugy runs he will have 20lbs to find.........my Betfair account is pretty healthy ad I would love to double it.

Henderson will be too scared to properly let him loose at home.

We won't find out if he's truly back until he runs. There's also no guarantee he'll ever be the same, Denman was never quite the horse that won the 08 Gold Cup after that. Can't believe it was six years ago either.

Hard to know what to make of that, won hard on the steel @ 1/5, there was country mile back to the 3rd.

I'm no expert but would wait for a vet to say SS's heart is completely normal, it's cured and there's no chance of any lasting effects before I'd consider backing him at 3's for any big chase.

Will be interesting to see what price he does go off on his return.
