Hms Ark Royal Visits London

Morning all.
Having half heard on the radio this morning that Ark Royal is sailing into Greenwich at some time today, I have trawled the net to try and find out times etc. Can't find a thing! I just wondered if anyone heard any more than me or is able to tell me when it is arriving?

The only thing I can suggest Sue is that you try and look at the times of the tides!!! as that should provide a reasonably reliable clue. Even the RN won't risk beaching one of our few remaining aircraft carriers I'd have thought. Now crashing into Tower Bridge is another matter

Thanks Warbler. After a couple of hours of hearing no more on the radio and thinking I had imagined it, a crew member has just come on and said it can be viewed from the North Pier at Greenwich.
