In our town now there are no music/dvd shops left. HMV was the last one.
Its ironic that the CD was supposedly the format of the future but now the real money earners are shops like this

CD's will probably cease being made in a year or two if rumblings in the industry are correct.
the above shop mainly sells vinyl to the thousands of people who have made turntables a growing industry over the last few years
on the hi fi forums i visit this shop is getting visitors from all over the country
vinyl still rules..the young buy crappy compressed mp3's whilst the older generation still crave the vinyl
