Senior Jockey
A series of meetings , two last week, two this week at Horse and Jockey Hotel Wed 18 at 7pm and Lalor's Hotel Naas Thursday 19 at 7pm.
A chance for Joe Public to have his/her say with John Osborne, Brian Kavanagh and others in attendance.
I hope to attend Horse and Jockey so see anyone local there.
Many years ago (1984) I attended a similar meeting in Power's Hotel near Dail Eireann arranged by The Racing Club of Ireland.
Dermot Weld, Ted Walsh and myself were the only people under 60 years of age present.
My conclusion that night was that old men should no say in a future they won't be around for , whatever about old women.
If I make no other contribution to the meeting it will be that.
