Ian Wright comments

i think his comments are being misread to a degree

when i heard it..my impression was that he is saying that playing for England if picked isn't something players should dread or duck...its an honour...and its a damn sight easier playing for your country than getting killed for it

maybe an odd comparison but i didn't get the idea he was comparing them..basically people actually volunteer to fight..which is hard...whereas being picked to play football is easy, not life threatening..and yet it appears some players don't want to do it

i've no real opinion about the guy either way..buts thats how i saw it
