Interesting entry in the Imperial Cup at Sandown on Saturday, a horse who has been off the track for more than four hundred days and who beat Douvan in France. :ninja:

Before being transferred to Donald McCain who managed to get him stuffed out of a sight in a 3K Catterick novice race on his very next start. #Toptrainer

Currently no sponsor for the Imperial which means as it stands there will be no bonus for winning here and at Cheltenham next week for the first time since 1990, winner will still get around 70k though.

the one i really like is CH'TIBELLO

i have him very well in here by a good few lbs based on the Altior run in October...i got Altior on 152 for that run...this one a couple of pounds behind him....and he owes me for the last run..i'll be on after waiting for a long time for him to run again.

should be thrown in here really off just 135

14/1 at the moment...nice..but even nicer on betfair..had 6 quid at 25.0 up to press:)..will sling some more at it as week goes by..14/1 is rubbish price from the bookies:)

Chtibello is the one for me too.

he had an entrie last week at Newbury, no entries for the festival, this should be the target.
stable back in form and could be in a good mark.

took the 20s and also double up with John constable in the county.

Took the last of the 20s with Bet365 last night. Now 16s best and 14s generally
15 on the machine

Clayton was rated 104 on the flat and took a fierce hold in his first three races over hurdles, still managing to run well in the first at Ascot before faltering at short prices in the next two. A change of tactics in his next outing - in an admittedly weak race - saw him saunter away with it without another horse ever being in it, mirroring the improvement shown by Ar Mad during a similar switch in tactics.

He'll improve for better ground and will be just 1lb out of the handicap assuming the top weight stands his ground so has to be of real interest for a trainer who has an incredible LSP here. He's currently a reserve but must be long odds on to get in and the 18/1 will do nicely.

****'s sake, backed it this morning. Another £70 down the drain on ante post non runners...

i'd only stuck 6 quid on it on betfair..its quite ironic though..i rarely bother ante post and first time i have a go for ages...with it being such a big price thought i'd have a go..i lose my money within 24 hours:) I was going to drop a few quid on each day..so at least we know now

its not for me ante post

Can answer that muself he runs with Killian Moore on board claiming 3lbs. Can't remember a horse off hand who won 6 handicaps on the trot????? He will........8/1 a knocking bet

After Chtibello out
knockgraffon looks the one for me here, took 16s

handicap debutant, stable in form, fit the trends, travells looking like drop in trip will suit, in what looks a bad edition.

You mean you don't remember the great Irish hurdler that won ten handicaps in a row.

12/1 still, something must be wrong

Agree with sunybay - Knockgraffon looks a bit of value at a double-figure price. Will be well-suited by this drop back to 2m, and a strongly-run race.
