Interesting piece of handicapping at Hereford

Some interesting stuff in the 18:10 at Dundalk last night - beaten 253 lengths in three previous starts, 12/1 into 4/1. Won.

Amazing how many psychic trianers there are

When your at that level you don't need to be too clever to figure when your horse is better than the rest. The fourth horse had never shown anything either and even looked a bit green, he was only getting going at the end ;)

Interesting comment on the stamina issue - they ran him three times at 11-12f, did it take them the three runs to realise he didn't stay or was there another problem?

Funny how many of these gambles have had breathing operations - think at least two of Alan Jones' gambles have had that in recent months.

Nice operation from Swinbank to get a mark of 57 for Born to Perform in the 2.35 Redcar today. 14s into 11/2 and just touched off after never being sighted on flat before.

Come Racing!

Did you need stable money to tell you that this unbeaten bumper performer could be better than a 57 horse at 2m on the Flat?

What about Silver Gypsy in the seller at Fakenham today?

Pulled up in 2 PTP's but just happened to travel over today for a £3k race with the addition of a tongue tie. Hammered into 6/1! Won doing handstands

Sir Louis in the 5.30 Redcar this afternoon....

This thread could go on and on and on....

However, all these horses have simply have had problems and have magnificent trainers who have performed miracles with them and subsequently backed them knowing in advance the miracles they have performed.

There are many many around GS, not quite as obvious from a handicapping point of view since the horse has been backed before when beaten but the 4:50 at Plumpton has "carve up" written all over it, 10/1 into 5's followed by "Made virtually all, drew away from 8th, mistake next, in no danger after, ridden 25 lengths clear 2 out, eased flat"
