Funny that,I backed it in running at 66/1.
My immortal used to be in my alerts,how did it manage to win a race like that 🤬
 
Was absolutely cruising when making that mistake at a crucial time; it was at that fence that the pace quickened, I think, leaving him flat-footed. I wish they'd ride him more prominently.




This marathon was run at a steady pace with the tempo only really lifting at the third-last, and it paid to be prominent. The first three home were all maidens over fences. RP analysis after the race was run.

Goes to show that when do don't race handy off a slow pace, it's difficult to respond when the pace quickens.

Haven't given up hope on this fellow.
