Alan Potts has just paid 340k for a 3yo unraced gelding. That is a crazy amount of money for a horse thats never seen a track yet.
I noticed Cantoris picked up another horse for his syndicate, for a more reasonable 20k. Lets see what happens in the years ahead.

tbh i dont care if its a full brother to Sprinter Sacre.....its a mental amount for an untried horse. Good luck to him. How much would he pay for Sprinter i wonder.

OTB, you're looking at last year's results. The top lot today was 130,000 and was bought by Potts.

And we did buy again, but €25k for a Kalanisi half brother to Niche Market and Beckett Rock. Very happy with him.

The horse we bought last year is called Presenting Beara and will run in a few weeks.

Good luck with him - might be one to take a little time?

Not sure about that. Beckett Rock won as a five year old and might have won as a four year old but for falling two out. I'm hoping Kalanisi will inject some speed into what is a family that stays well. The family also seems to get plenty of runners so they must be sound.
