Just glanced at this and got a couple of surprises (I'm not a stocks and shares follower).

Paddy Power is the 34th on the list in terms of turnover, which is a lot higher than I thought they would be.

Ryanair are in 37th. The surprise with them was the fact that they made €250m profit on €1074m turnover, which doesn't exactly sound like a low margin airline to me.
 
Paddy Power has reported that profits have suffered from the run of Irish successes in England.
 
Ryanair have ordered a new fleet of planes. Maybe their profit is due to having a fairly small depreciation charge left on the old planes.
