Yes, Irish runners monpolised the handicaps in 2006. They didn;t do too badly last year. Winning the County Hurdle, 3rd in the Pertemps, and 2nd and 3rd in the Coral Cup? Presumably those horses were "harsly treated" by Phil Smith as well.
I think Sizing Europe's Greatwood Hurdle victory probably wasn't what you or Bar The Bull had in mind. However, it seems to me that just because Irish Horses have not won any of the other big handicap hurdles over here so far this season they are suddenly "badly handicapped".
